How does domain binding and license verification work?

When your self-hosted backend boots, it validates your license key and configured production domain against the Sendvelo license server. The response is cryptographically signed using Ed25519 asymmetric keys and cached locally. Periodic checks occur every 48 hours, and a 7-day offline grace period covers temporary network outages.

Can I move my installation to a new server or domain?

Yes. From your Sendvelo account dashboard under My Licenses, you can deactivate an installation at any time. Once deactivated, you can activate your license on your new server or domain.

Is application source code provided?

Sendvelo Self-Hosted is distributed as compiled Docker containers accompanied by Docker Compose configurations, environment templates, and operational documentation. Raw repository source code is not included with the standard license.

Are there limits on how many subscribers or emails I can send?

Sendvelo does not impose subscriber or send limits. Because the database and messaging infrastructure run on your hardware, you connect your own delivery providers and pay their provider rates.

How do I access downloads and future updates?

Downloads are available under Account > Licenses. When a release is published during your active update window, you can generate an authenticated, short-lived download link with SHA-256 integrity verification.
