Cookie & Similar Technologies Notice

This Notice describes the cookies, browser storage, and related technologies used on the Sendvelo website and QASA-operated account interfaces.

Effective:

1. What these technologies are

Cookies are small text files stored by a browser. We also use local storage, session storage, and IndexedDB, which can retain identifiers, preferences, or application state. Some technologies are set directly by Sendvelo and others are provided by third parties. This Notice should be read with our Privacy Policy.

2. Strictly necessary and functional storage

  • Authentication and security: refresh-token cookies and browser session data keep users signed in, complete multi-factor authentication, remember a safe return path, and protect accounts.
  • Tenant and interface state: browser storage remembers the active organization, theme, and whether the navigation sidebar is open. The sidebar preference cookie normally lasts seven days.
  • Push notifications: where enabled with permission, local storage and IndexedDB retain Firebase Cloud Messaging tokens and notification state.
  • Checkout and delivery: short-lived state supports the purchase, payment-return, and license-delivery flow.

These technologies are used to provide requested features, maintain security, and remember choices. Disabling them may prevent account, checkout, or dashboard functionality.

3. Third-party technologies

  • Google reCAPTCHA: when enabled on login, registration, password reset, or contact forms, Google processes device and interaction information to identify automated abuse.
  • Paddle: when you open checkout or billing tools, Paddle may set cookies or similar technologies for payment, fraud prevention, tax, session continuity, and buyer support.
  • Firebase: when browser push is enabled, Google Firebase uses identifiers and browser storage to register and deliver notifications.

4. Analytics and advertising

We do not currently deploy third-party behavioral advertising tags or general-purpose marketing analytics cookies on the public Sendvelo website. Operational logs and first-party counters may measure service reliability, security events, and aggregate product activity without using advertising profiles.

A customer's self-hosted Sendvelo installation may use message open and click tracking or technologies selected by that customer. The customer is responsible for its own notices, consent choices, and legal basis. This Notice does not describe customer-operated websites or campaigns.

5. Your choices

Browser settings can block or delete cookies and site data. You can also withdraw browser notification permission in device settings. Blocking necessary storage may sign you out, reset preferences, or make account and checkout functions unavailable.

Third parties provide their own controls. Review Google and Paddle's privacy information for choices that apply to their technologies. Where applicable law requires consent for a non-essential technology, we will request it before use.

6. Changes and contact

We may update this Notice when technologies or legal requirements change. Questions may be sent to support@thesendvelo.com.
